David Courtemanche is the principal consultant and founder of Leading Minds Inc. - a leadership consultant firm established in 1997. David has held senior management positions with several organizations and is currently the Executive Director of the City of Lakes Family Health Team. At 39 years old, he was the youngest elected mayor in the history of the City of Greater Sudbury where he served on Council for nine years. A graduate of the University of Guelph, he majored in Political Studies and holds a Master's Degree in Leadership from the College of Management and Economics. He has completed executive training at the York University Schulich School of Executive Development and Royal Roads University in Victoria, B.C. He is a member of the International Leadership Association and conference volunteer at the 2019 Global Congress in Ottawa, Canada. He is LEADS Canada certified as well as a certified LEADS Canada Coach and has achieved the Canadian Health Executive (CHE) designation under the Canadian College of Health Leaders. David is professionally certified to deliver Hogan Assessments including the Hogan Personality Inventory, the Hogan Development Survey and the Hogan Motives, Values and Preferences Inventory. In 2023, he was appointed to the Board of Directors for the Ontario College of Family Physicians.
